History
Full Speed Athletics is a non-profit family oriented, developmental athletics centered organization.   In short, we are a community/family working together for the benefit of our children. Our emphasis is on developing strong, independent, well rounded student-athletes with self-esteem and community service and awareness.  Our athletes have received national recognition and are likewise in attendance at some of the top rated schools in the Washington, DC Metropolitan Area including:  Bullis, Holton Arms, Landon School, National Cathedral School, St. John’s College High School, Riverdale Baptist, Bishop McNamara, Elizabeth Seton and Arch Bishop Carroll -- to name a few.  Some of our former athletes have matriculated to:  Columbia University, Indiana University, Morgan State, University of Michigan, University of Richmond, University of Virginia.  Three of our former athletes who left to pursue football or other teams will be entering:  Morgan State, Stanford and the University of Wisconsin this fall.

Full Speed Athletics, Inc., is a relatively new organization formed in 2008.  At that time, we were focusing on conditioning what was mainly, young male athletes for football.  Midway through the season, we saw something special and restructured our dream.  That conditioning component gave way to raw talent with the ability to compete on a nation level.  Since that time we have made a significant impact training young girls and boys; competing in both the USATF and AAU; traveling to compete all over the country in:  Rock Hill, SC, Omaha, NE, Des Moines, IA, Orlando, FL, Norfolk, VA, Myrtle Beach, SC, New Orleans, LA, New York, NY, Greensboro, NC, Hampton, VA, Eugene Oregon and more -- winning over 40 National Titles and establishing ten (10) national records along the way.  We have also made a segue into other territories competing in the Colgate Women’s Games and New Balance Indoor and Outdoor Nationals. We are anxious and ready to make our name known worldwide as we believe track & field will become the next big sport in this country.

At present we have over Fifty (50) athletes and five (5) Coaches on our roster.  Our athletes have accomplished the following:  35 National Titles, 9 National Records, 1 State Record, 1 Gatorade Athlete of the Year, 2 All-Met Selections; Two Hundred Fifty One All-American (251), 9 ISL Conference Champions and 2 WCAC Conference Champions.  We will close our 2016 indoor season the Ocean Breeze Complex in Staten Island, New York at the USATF Indoor Youth Nationals, where you will constantly hear the crowd erupt into our cheer 1….2….3… FULLSPEED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
